Have you personally known any wealthy or powerful people?
Do you ever feel or express what the people say in verses 2:17 and 3:14? Is this just a confused, emotional moment or your belief? Isaiah 59:14.
What does God promise in verses 2-5? Amos 5:24 “Let judgement run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.”
Verse 6 states what mighty truth about God’s character?
Psalm 89:14 states two elements of God’s character. Do they contradict?
Lamentations 3:22-24. What does the prophet say about God’s mercy / compassions? And then concludes what he (the prophet) will do?
One form of justice coming down is when God hands us over to the consequences of our actions. Romans 1:24.
Briefly what is the parable of the vineyard laborers in Matthew 20? How do the final words of the landowner in verses 13-15 settle our minds about justice.

Prayer: Father, help us to trust You to execute justice, while being grateful that Your character is merciful.
