(vv. 1-2) Who is standing before the Angel of the Lord, and what role is Satan playing? Why does the Lord rebuke Satan, and what does it mean that Joshua is a "brand plucked out of the fire”?
(vv. 3-5) What do the filthy garments signify regarding Joshua (and Israel's) spiritual state? What is the significance of the "clean robes" and "turban" being placed on him?
(vv. 6-7) What responsibilities does the Angel of the Lord give to Joshua if he wishes to govern God's house? How does obedience relate to the blessing in this context?
