Weekly Discussion Questions  

  • Why is the author distressed?

  • Do you experience the frustration the author describes in his time in your life today? Why or why not.

  • Where is the prophet’s trust and hope? and why does he express such hope?

  • In verse 9 the prophet seems to express a positive view point for indignation, why?

  • Verses 18 to 20 depict a change in the perspective yet desolation exists. Can you explain what is transpiring between God and His people? Who are they?

Prayer: Father, as our society disintegrates into moral decay we do not lose hope for we look to you, the God of forgiveness and restoration.  We cry out to you O Lord!
