  • Who is the Prophet addressing in this chapter compared to the previous chapter and why is he more specific?

  • What does God say will happen to the prophets efforts and claims in this chapter?

  • How would you react to this charge if directed at you?

Prayer: Father, help us remember that it is not our religious heritage that makes us acceptable to you but how we live, particularly in how we deal with others in being just and forgiving.  Save us from false teachers and anchor us firmly in the truth of your Holy Word.
