Weekly Discussion Questions
Why was Jonah displeased? What attributes of God's character are mentioned in verse two?
If Jonah knew so much of God's grace and compassionate heart why do you think he was he so surprised that God did not destroy Nineveh ?
Do you think a knowledge of God's love and mercy would help your relationship with God? (see 2 Peter 1:1-3)
God used a brilliant illustration to show Jonah why he did not destroy Nineveh. (verse 5 - 11) Has God ever given you a picture or illustration on the need to preach the gospel? Share it with your group.
Prayer: Father, forgive us for our lack compassion. Give us a heart for those lost in sin that we may share the gospel with them that they may be saved.
